having problems with my abs pump,pump is constantly pumping and the abs and asc light are on on the dash the only way to stop the pump is to pull the fuse!,have had it on a comp and comes back as no faults??? anyone have any ideas?

Hey bud, did you get any further forward with that fault ? I'm surprised nobody here has come up with a solution. By the way, we got that silver E46 started, it wasn't the immobiliser, it was a broken earth strap from the chassis to the engine. Starts a treat now. You gonna make it on Sunday? Its worth a look.

yeah christ knows whats wrong with it!??? bet he's glad the silver e46 is going though,didn't make it on sunday had to bloody work,when and where is the next one and i will try and make it along. by anychance do you know of a bmw garage/specialist but not a main dealer as they cost a fortune!?

finally got this prob sorted,after many garages and so called specialists!! who said i needed a new abs controll box(£200-£800) took car to autotechnik in rosyth who plugged car into comp uploaded new softwear and deleted all old fault codes,and only cost £45!! well chuffed now have traction control back
