hello to all

hope someone can help

the heater in my car is only blowing hot on the passanger side only.the drivers side is still blowing but seems to intermitantly blow warm and cold.

i had a new thermostat fitted about 6 weeks ago but its been fine since then until now

any ideas

I am assuming that you have the dual control climate system and not the poverty spec one.

Sounds like you have one of your heater valves jammed.  They can be usually freed up with a tap with a hammer.  This picture gives you an idea what to look for.  The heater valves are located on the inner nearside wing.

Replacing it doesn't look too bad, more awkward access if anything and refilling and bleeding the E39 cooling system can be a challenge.
