Also borrow the BMWCC Mag folder I passed to Issy when she took on the Chair - it has all the Scottish articles from the mag over the years.
Pop round for a wee malt and I'll fill in the details for you |

Duncan and I - March 2002 at the 2nd meet of the reformed region
Over the years I've probably only missed a handful of (main) meets and probably have photos for most of them Check out BMWCCScotland and have a look through the events Maybe of interest to Muppet (Sandy) - a Z Register meet a Tatton Park 2002 and a couple of ZRoadster meets in the Lake district 2003/2004 |

Speak to Dunc about the start of the region. I was there in the early days.
It was resurrected by Fraser Darcy and James Westwood 10 years ago and in those days it was a monthly pub meet at the Hawes Inn South Queensferry, on the third Sunday of the month if memory serves me correct. Dunc had his E36 328i then. Faser then left for London and it was left to James, Dunc and Nero to run the club. I can't remeber when dunc took over the Chairmanship and things then took off, with monthly meets moving every month to different area's of the region. Then after a suggestion by someone on here the meets were moved to the first Sunday of the month. Steve Gill came on board along with Pete and I think I joined the committee at the same time. Then of course Issy then took the helm in a blaze of vodka and we have kicked on again from then. I had a silver E30 M3 then which I have pics of if you require. Thats as much as I can remember I'm sure I have missed things but Dunc and Nero can fill in the blanks |

Peeps, you may or may not be aware that the Scottish
region has now been going for 10 years. my plan is to do put a bit in the club magazine, I of course am too young to remember the early days and am looking for stories , funny or just about the setting up of the region and the year up till now. Pics of the early members and club members cars through the years will be of particular interest. i will put it together and hopefully make the region as look as good as it genuinely is Sandy PM me with any thing.. |
