hi folks i have 4 x 17inch multihole alloys that i thought
i would fit onto my e36 .Trouble is i had a bad experience
a few years ago with a rover 600 with the bearing colapsing
I use a local engineering company to make me adapters from
four to five stud they were made from alluminium but before
i go to that bother are these type of wheels just a bit of
stran on the bearings

Hey mate,

To be honest only time you will get problems with wheel
bairns and alloy wheels is if you run massive spacers
like 50mm things or somthing!

It sound to me like your Rovers wheel bairn was proberly
on its way out anyway!

I know many people including myself at one point that ran
hubcentric 4stud to 5stud conversion spacers on a
previous car and never
had any problems.

Multi fit alloys wont cause any problems what so ever
mate.

I had E46 M3 19" wheels on my E36 M-Sport mate and the
caused no problems, And these wheels are massive lol

Not a problem buddy.

Yeah that is my car alot of time and money has went in to
building her, My build thread is a the next one down
from this i think have a little look over it im sure you
will like whats been done!

If you go on google and type in hubcentric wheel adaptors
mate, You should be able to find a list of all the PCD
adaptions that they do and is possible.

Some arent possible as the holes are to close together to
adapt but you will get all the info you need from the net
and if not, a company that supply's then should be able
to give you any info you are looking for about them!

Hi Brian, I'm in Perth too so give me a shout if you need help with anything E36 wise. I've got an Avus blue one that you might have seen about.
