Saw this appear on my feed on Facebook.  This happened in the Lothian and Borders area.  Not a pretty sight.

The owner is looking for any information and for people to keep an eye out for any parts.

At the same time, posting this as a heads up to keep your pride and joys safe.

Wow, i'll certainly keep a look out on the usual forums.

Someone knew the most expensive parts to steal!

Luckily the interior is safe, is it?

Ah, I must be able to see it as someone on my friends list shared it.

The body of the post is below.

Total ***** stole the wheels and airbox off my CSL, anyone with any information at all please get in touch with me or Lothian and Borders police on 0131 311 3131

This happened on the early hours of Monday morning (25th of March)

I'm offering a cash reward for any information regarding the names of those involved!

I can identify the parts, they all have distinct markings on them that I will be able to easily identify.

CCTV is being looked at by the police and I am appealing for witnesses local to where it happened.

Hopefully we'll catch who is responsible!

Seen this on a few other forums, brings a tear to a glass eye when I think the number of times I've parked mine in 'secure' underground car parks when staying at hotels etc on courses and breaks away.

Parts are becoming so rare now the prices are shocking. BMW have now stopped making the cf roof so anyone of us genuine CSL owners looking parts like that are going to find it tougher like your man Dans airbox, I'm not sure they're still making it although a mate of mine over here in NI just had his replaced under warranty so they must be.

Pish craic, hope they find the guys and the parts.
