I use Braidwood autos near Carluke t 01555 759339. I was put on to them by a BMW mechanic who used them to do the alignment on his M3. My Z3 is in there just now getting a bit of TLC

M tech rutherglen I use. Got a hunter machine. Supposedly best in the business but is £75 plus vat.

Sorry meant to add, BMW would want another £100 over that price. I have paid around £65-70 inc VAT for a wheel alignment but that garage has closed now. So £75 plus VAT isn't too bad considering as you say its a Hunter set up.

Thought it was a wee but steep but only place my car can get onto ramp and the kwick fit hanging a metal bracket over the wheel is definately a no go.
So turns out good value !! |

Last time I checked Kwik Fraud could only do a front wheel alignment i.e. adjust your toe setting and not a full four wheel alignment which is what's needed on BMs.

I was on the phone today to Redpath Tyres in Edinbugh today. The M3 needs new tyres.....ouch!!!😳
Anyway I asked about wheel alignment and the women informed me they have just had the Hunter pro set up installed and it costs £55 that will do me thanks plus their Michelin Piliot Supersports are £100 cheaper for 4 than anywhere else!!!  going to pay them a visit tomorrow! 😥Edited by Issy - 05-July-2014 at 00:01 |
