I have 03 x5 diesel have had suspension inact on the dash for about a month but I comes and goes
replaced self levelling sensor on drivers side rear last week as this is what the garage told me it was after they plugged it in now it wont level but could go all the way up and not down so it goes up a little bit every time I start the car sensor cost me €90 what else could it be |

Not sure but I recall reading that once you have worked on these suspension systems they need to be reset to allow them to then work properly. New sensor fitted may need resetting into the cars ECU or reprogrammed into the canbus system. Not suite sure what is involved exactly but will need hooked back up to diagnostic gear for a reset.
Unless of course it is something else that is wrong, probably best to get the diagnostic codes read first. Could simply be an air leak somewhere.... |
