Hi,

Just got the car sorted over the weekend and would like to know what you guys think of her. Still a few bits to do such as exhaust, pop out windows, eyebrows and angel eyes.

Car is looking good. Very good. Are you going to take it to Rockingham on the 6th March

If you keep an eye out on ebay you might be able to find an Alpina front air dam, but you will probable have to buy from Germany.

Also if you phone up Sytner of Nottingham they will be able to supply you with both an Alpina Tax disc holder and the Dealer Alpina number plates.

If you keep an eye out on Fab you also might be able to find some rear head retraints if tha your cup of tee. I am looking for some of those for my six, but they are not easy to find.

You've done a great job

James

James

I would love to go to Rockingham but I don't think we could get over, we are getting married this year so I trying to do as much to the car in between buying wedding stuff.

Whats the alpina dealer plates look like, is it a surround for the plate to sit in ?

Thanks

It's just the Sytner logo with BMW on the left and Alpina on the right. They would be the correct plates for an Alpina in the Uk. As for Rockingham, its only £5 and there will be maybe 500 - 1000 e30's/people going and you might well be able to get some good sources of information for continuing your car.

James,

£5 doesn't seem so bad but I would be travelling from Northern Ireland. I might try and work something out though.

Still not finished though, have to get the exhaust sorted but I am only going to put on a twin dtm upsept tail piece cause Idon't want corsa noise from it. I also have to get the tinted pop out quarter windows.

I need rear headrests also, if anyone has any.

Andy from TBMW contacted me yesterday with regards to the car and wants to do an Iirsh phot shoot woth it in the mag, I think he thought it was an Alpina though. I am gathering up some other guys such as an Alpina 5 Series and an AC Schnitzer 5 series replica.

Thanks for the good response guys.

If you want some rear head restraint FAB has some contact them on UK: +44)-1594-827333. or you can have a look at there web site. You may have to get them re trimmed to your interior which may not be easy. http://www.fabdirect.com/index2.htm

Hope this helps
