BMW 323i Coupe

   I own a 1999 323i coupe and have experienced a problem with a flat battery on two occassions and I wonder if anybody else has had this problem. The battery and alternator have been checked, and it appears that the key is the problem, when locking the car it is easy to hit the boot release button below the BMW logo thereby leaving the internal boot lights on without beign able to see them
