Well, that one didn't last long (6 weeks, 4000 miles). The £180 ebay 732i blew it's torque converter oil seal and is now a useless heap. Before she goes, anybody want any very cheap bits? It'll be here for a bout 3 or 4 days before the man with the lorry comes!
Apart from the SEEEERIOUS oil leak, it was mechanically perfect, the body was pretty good too. Bits will be for next to nothing. Bearing in mind that you don't even see these in scrapyards anymore, it's a good opportunity to stock up on those bits!

Doesn't sound too good... I've got a 730 manual jobby and (touch wood) its going ok at the moment - only done 88,000 from new. Its the bodywork thats letting it down at the moment...

If you were after salvaging it I know of a good breakers yard in Heysham that usually keeps parts for E23's (usually have a couple in too)... got an A1 front wing off a 735 for £45. If you're interested I can dig out the info and let you know...
