Hi guys,

just wondering about the group insurance fo older cars provided for the club by Carole Nash. How old does the car need to be? 24 old enough??... For a car that only puts up a few thousand a year, normal insurance works out pretty expensive

Regards;

I think a car has to be at least 10 years old to be considered a classic. Thats what my insurer told me anyway

Also check with the new AXA "Concours" package. Ask for Myles O'Reilly - 1890 200016 (or any AXA Branch)

Insurance rules in the UK are not similar to those in the Emerald Isle (even though the companies may be the same)

For what it's worth, according to the motor tax people, they dont regard a car as a classic/vintage until it's 30 years old! I'll be vintage myself by then!
