Hi,

I have just purchased a 99 S 323 Coupe

I now need to find some help on where to service/maintain the car. Can you help?

The things that need immediately looking at are;

Drivers airbag light coming on apparently due to loose wiring - shall wait and see...

Front disc's and pads need replacing shortly

Harman Kardon front passenger speaker working intermittently

I would also liked the car generally looked over...

Can anyone give me some advice about a recommended garage to take the car to? I want to avoid BMW as I think they may cost the earth - is this true?

I live in Milton Keynes and am looking for a company within 30 miles ideally

 Welcome 323 Coupe.You have on your Doorstep a Small BMW service comp, at Water Eaton , Bletchley.PCS 01 908 270503.Have used them a few times. If any parts are needed, make sure they are IN, Before you leave car for the day.

Just had my car in yesterday. Overall good service and good advice from Dave across many subjects - very knowledgeable.

You have to get them to order parts otherwise they get them in on the day. Jackie at the garage says they will charge if you don't show which I think is fare enough.

They tend to quote pattern parts as standard and I decided to get them to order BMW branded. They do say that no difference so down to knowledge and preference.

A few issues;

Had EPP 2 light come up on dash this morning. Turned engine off and back on and seemed to go away. When on, none of the dials worked apart from the speedo.

Couldn't diagnose airbag light. Machine came up with diagnosis of short circuit. Will wait and see if it comes back.

Couldn't find fault with speaker - sods law as after I left, it went off again. Will be returning to have door skin off as Dave had radio out and couldn't find fault.

When driver was putting my car back in the car park he scraped the front spoiler up on the kerb

All said and done, good service from Jackie and Dave and all other work was dealt with. I will return
