Hi. I searched for climate control on the forum and turned up a couple of people who had the same intermitant switching off and freezing up problem thart my e36 suffers from. But none of the links to websites with info on how to solve it worked. Do any off you know how to rectify the problem, or know a link that works?

I fixed this myself with a bit of solder, I have the fix stored somewhere in my computer. (Stored emails)

It really is dead easy and if a numpty like me can do it, anyone can.

Email me off forum and I will send it to you.

Mike.

PS. It works perfectly now, the problem is the dry solder joints in the circuit board.

I have sent you the details to your own email address, it is quite a large file so may take a while.

Let me know how you get on with it. If you have any queries, dont hesitate to ask as I managed to fix it.

(If I can anyone can!!)
