i was given a E30 318i on a f reg with 8 month mot on it
it is black and the inside is mint.the build qualtey of this car is wicked the door shutting is like my newish car clong rather than a clack.elecitic front windows & elecitic mirrors.some tools & a jack.is there any points i should look for were probs are common.it drive wicked might keep it for a proj ??

Nice freebie. You will probably want to check it out for rust around the wheel arches, both front and back. They do rust on both sides of the back arches. Also they tend to leak into the boot, particularly into the wells at the sides. If you have a sunroof check the drain channels are clear, front and back.

A trawl thru the 3-series tech forum will help.

that wicked theres minor rust on one arch on the inside
and the boot wells are dry and rust free.cant wait to get tax and ins.can i add it on to my ins ive already got or do i have to get a new policy.

All depends on your insurance company, generally you will have to get a new policy for each car.
