im just coming up to my stage two service, ive checked at my local BMW dealers and they say it will cost £450 plus any non service parts, just wondered if anyone knows of a BMW approved service centre in the south east that will do it any cheeper but still give me a BMW stamp and reset the service lights

Hiya,

AMC garage in Earlsfield are BMW/Merc specialists, they'll do an inspection 2 service for £303. I'm not sure if they're BMW approved.

 

Also, if your car is over 4 years old, Heathrow BMW will do it for about £375 I think.

Thanks Chris the Heathrow place sounds good you can play a round of golf while you wait its a bit to far for me though, need somewhere in essex.

Dont suppose you have a web site of phone number for the AMC garage in Earlsfield so i can check out the prices and see if they stamp the book and put you on the BMW computer

im also finding out how much it is at fairfeilds down the southend arterial ill let you know when they contact me

Just got the price back from Fairfeilds they quoted £493!!!!! cant belive it guess im just going to have to cough up the money

Sorry for the delay in replying, haven't had a chance to check the site recently. Just picked up my car from AMC from its inspection - was very impressed with the service there. Their number is 020 8944 9966.

My car's an '89 320i, so I guess that's why it's cheaper.All the best,
