can some one tell me where the central locking control unit on my 91 318is is located. many thanks steve |

the control unit is below the speaker in the drivers side footwell. you will need to remove the speaker first to gain access to it then undo 2 screws and it should come out upwards through the hole where your speaker was.

currently gone on my E30 - just haven't yet fixed the problem.
What are your symptoms? Mine is intermittent so a bit of cleaning may sort it out [hope so as the module is $$$ from the dealer] |

try scrapyards first as there are loads of e30s just sittin. i paid a fiver for my last one.
