I'm starting out on the journey of buying an M coupe.

Trying to learn as much about the VANOS units as poss as they seem a little tempremental!

A couple of questions for those who know so much more than me.

Should I buy privately (it seems a BMW dealer cover may be ESSENTIAL from what I have read??)

I have recently come accross a Z3 Coupe (an M coupe body but with a 2.8 non-M engine. Originally from France and registered over here from new. Has anybody come across this before? Do you know if the suspension and brakes are different / the same to the M coupe?

Cheers guys

W
