I know it's old news now but I only just managed to get my camera back from a mate who borrowed it to take some pics of his house.

Altogether around 10 6 series coupes turned up at Hestercombe, including 4 M6365s: Ross Harris's Macau Blue Highline (which won the show & shine), my 1985 Diamond Black one, a solid black B reg one that needed a bit of tlc and a very original Cirrus Blue one with just 65K recorded. It didn't have electric seats so I assume it was an option on the early cars like mine.

There was a lovely red highline auto and a white 3.0 CSL which was nice. A single 840Ci and several E36 coupes plus a superb E46 M3 Individual coupe made it a great day, despite the wet start.

About 80 BMWs turned up and an excellent nosebag at the cafe so worth the trip next year. The gardens are nice too if you like that sort of thing.

Pics are quite low res on this site. If anyone wants higher res versions e-mailing just let me know.

It definitely WAS an extra cost option, and I'm quite pleased about it! Not having it means less complication...

Those who like trivia will also be interested to know that Nick's M635CSi also features in a current issue of "Practical Classics"...

Really?

That's news to me!

What issue/page number?

I remember e-mailing some info to 'Classics' mag last year just after I bought the car but never heard anything and had completely forgot about it.

Go to your local WHS or newsagent now, Nick, before the next issues come out. You'll find it, believe me....
