I'm thinking of stripping mine for parts, depends on what everythings worth I suppose, either that or someone can buy the whole thing off me.

I've borrowed so much to spend on it, my parents have had enough, It's just had a Polished & Ported cylinder head on it (£650) and now the ECU may be buggered. I'd keep it if i could but they've had enough and it's their roof I live under. Either that or I torch it and claim on the insurance!

Before you break it, give Jon Blacklaws a ring. He will supply you with an ECU at a very low price, he may even let you try that just in case it's somthing else. But try once more after all that effort!
His Tel: 01179603157
His e-mail address-

Good luck.
PS If you do break it (which I still don't think you should) can I have 1st refusal on the front spoiler? :-)

I'm not totally certain I am breaking the car yet, If I can get it running I'll try to sell it whole. I owe just under £2000 to my parents for it so if I can get as much as I can towards that then i'll just have to start again in a few months with another car.I'm in Basingstoke in Hampshire,

The spec of the car at the moment is:

1988 325i dealer built Alpina C2 Replica. The car overheated and warped the cylinder head so I decided to replace it with a "fast road" Cylinder head from a company called CTM. It has had it's ports polished and flowed and new valves fitted. The Wheels are 16" Alpina multispokes with 205/45/16 Goodyear F1's at the front and 225/45/16 Kumho's on the rear. One of the front rims has a small bit of damage on the rim from a careless tyrefitter. It has a Green induction kit, M3 Half-leather interior (grey). Alpina Gearknob and Steering wheel + Momo Champion steering wheel.

I'm not sure how much to ask for bits really, I'm not sure what they're worth. I think i'll have to look round some second-hand parts places to get an idea of parts prices.

any ideas what bits are worth what anyone?
