hi after having a bmw dealer tel me that i need to replace the cat because i had lost power and response and overall smoothnes i spent £275 on a new one but to no avail. really pi**sed off after having spent all that cash. could it be something to do with the ignition because sometimes when i start  the car it  just drives superbly with all the smoothnes and response and power all back. and then i start the car later on and its the same again driving slugish and louder with no response pls pls can anyone point me in the right direction as i cannot afford to throw money around. i was thinking of letting bmw check the car for one hour  or let them do a diognostic on the car????
