Why is E38 such a beauty?

   Dear BMW Friends:
I hate to say so ...... but why is the E38 design such a beauty of personality, class and style ...... in comparison to the new BMW 7 series. I have driven BMW's for more than 16 years with two 5 series bought from new and one 3 series cabriolet kept as second car. 
I have tried hard to convience myself that the new 7 series is just the car ....... but in comparison to my 7 series from 2001 spotless in black with all what can be added from BMW ..... I am sorry gays, the new 7 will not replace it. This is not so much about the exterior that I find refreshing, but the interior was not designed for the Europe market .... sorry to my US friends. Hopefully when the time comes to replace the E38, BMW has employed a new design concept for the interior and we are all in business again.
Is this too hard said!!!!! - lovely E38. What's wrong with me!
PS: Normally I am excitet when new models come out!

	Hi, Have you driven an E65 yet? I agree (as an E38 driver) that the E65 is not as good looking, although it is growing on me. However, I recently test drove an X3, a new 530d Touring and the 730d. Guess which one I enjoyed the most? I can't get over how good the E65 is to drive. Every time I get in one, I think, "I must remember to fiddle with the iDrive this time." Every time I forget because it's just such a darn (just for Nigel) fine car to drive. I am pretty sure that when the price of used E65s come into range, I'll be swapping for one of them. Who cares what other people think of the looks? You should be buying cars for yourself.
