525e Auto Gearbox Problem

   Guys, when I start my E28 525e and put into "D" the engine just revs for a moment or two before the gear engages, same with reverse! Also when driving along sometimes it jumps out of gear or into first. When I use "sport" or "123" mode it settles down. The car only cost me a couple of hundred quid so any large bills will see it's demise. Would appreciate any advice or info.

	Hi Johnny, have you changed the auto oil recently, give it a go and see what happens...! I haven't had that prob yet on my e28, good luck let me know what happens.
