Had a great day and a big thank you to Kevin for organising this. I think the turnout was a little poor, but those that went enjoyed themselfs. I have added some photos and given a brief description of the event on my web site. Please feel free to have a look.

James nice write up.

It was interesting that almost all the cars had readings about 10% lower than expected. Mine was judged to be 305bhp at the flywheel @ 6509 rpm, whereas the claimed output is 340bhp @ 6700rpm.

The M5 in the photo on your page is the other one that was there. It is a very nice Orinoco Green and is number 33 of the 50 Limited Edition UK cars. Mine is black.

Strange sensation, hearing the cars at full throttle but going nowhere.

Thank you all who attended, some of you travelling for over 2 hours. It was a shame about the turnout but as you say we had a good time. I have learnt a few lessions for the next time

Cheers
Kevin

 Nice one Kev,

Yeah bit of lack of attendance.... I only saw 2 cars on the rollers by the time I turned up lol

I hope everyone was happy with P.E. as I think I was the one that suggested it in the first place

It makes me feel good about my 3.0L M3 as it pulled 291hp on the exact same dyno 2months ago.....so not only is it a minter it has a strong engine to

John,

The M3 will be at the 'Ring in August. The other E34 M5 also got low readings so I don't think anything is wrong with the car. I will be double checking.
