Wow what a couple of races!!

Andy was the star for me, 13th to 6th in Race 1 with some fantastic moves at the Melbourne loop.

3rd on the grid for race 2 and straight into the lead.

To top of a fantasic day he now leads the championship by 4 points .

'ERE!

...... don't forget to say thank you to the PROPER Brit - James Thompson .......

- FIRST in the FIRST Race

- SECOND in the SECOND

that helped the token Brit out, by taking points away from the Müllers & Tarquini !!
Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.

It was ish!!

I went to collect my car after the final ETCC race (Formula Renault & F3 still to go) and had to wait about half an hour to get out of the infield tunnel (no very well organised :-( ). From here though it was OK about 15 mins back to the M1 and away.

Race 1 was the best, so much overtaking at the Melbourne loop, shame Eurosport didnt show it.

Enjoyed the day will go next year great racing and good value as well

SO!!!!!!  nothing changes. In 03 with the last 2 Races togo and still on the infield area, sat for hour ++, all racing finished.snail speed to public road which WAS clear, nearly 2 Hrs togo. NO more.

Read the attendance was down this year, maybe others dont want their Clutches cooked.

Oops - quite right, he was 3rd - got over excited!

p.s. re getting out - I couldn't get away until way after the last race (go on, ask me who really won the GT race!?), from the infield, across the track, into the queue, out the main gate and on the A42 in 20mins - pretty good for Donington!
