Can any one help? My 325i has started to make a grinding noise from the back end when turning right. It only sems to come from the passenger side rear wheel, i jacked it up this morning suspecting a wheel bearing but found no evidence. The only noise i got was the rubbing of the brakes, the wheel was tight with no bearing slack at all. I really don't want to leave it to get much worse. Could it be driveshaft bearings, brakes or something else i haven't thought of? any ideas would be appreciated. One other thing as a regular listener to Talk Sport i am getting rather frustrated as my MW reception seems to be deteriorating FM is perfect any thoughts????

weather could effect the MW trabsmission.

As for the noise, it could be a tight calliper, jack the rear up and get someone in the car to press the break and see if the calliper slides in and out without any probs.

this is common with sliding callipers.

To check the wheel bearing, you will need to get it up to speed, so put the car up on SECURE axle stands and run it in 5th. It is possible that it is the front bearings so check them by feel too.

It may also be the differential, so have listen while your there.
