e36 M44 compact oil change what kind!!!

   Hi guy & gals
I'm taking my wee dakar yellow compact to kwick fit for a oil change, it still got three green lights before servicing but been kicking it abit and want to gave the engine some refresh oil...
So i was wondering what oil you guys got in your bemmers for example fully or semi-oil and what grade 10w-40 and what the best for my M44 engine?
I think Kwick fit uses mobil 1 so that should be okie not sure on what grades etc and is a kwick fit oil filter fine or should i buy one from the bmw garage.
Bmw charges way to must for only a oil change i think if i correct �100 odd quids!!!!
