986 635 CSi - Anyone got any idea where I might get the rear wheel arch panels that the mud flaps attach to? - they look like simple steel splash guards covering the lower rear of the wheel arch.

Mine are (of course) non existent, and as the flaps are about to fall off I thought I'd do something about replacing them.

(Motormec tell me that the entire rear quarter panel will need replacing - but that can't be right - can it????)

-no, if its thie bit I thnk it is, its just a wee thing held on with a few pop rivets. Should be able to get one from a breakers, or maybe the real thing isn't too much to buy from BMW.

Brucey - thats the fella - any idea of part number - or even what its called? - Local dealer can't help / not much help from breakers - and my description can't be helping since the closest Ive got so far is a recommendation to replace the rear quarter!!!.

I'll try posting a pic to generate some interest - I can't believe mine is the only one with rear mud flaps attached to fresh air!?
