Thanks for that Howard.  I've passed on the details to those who have asked.

Thanks Guys

So how many UK X owners are there in the BMWCCGB then?

Had my X3 3.0i SE for a whole 3 weeks now and just love the car.

Found this a while ago (used as a quiz in a Z3 cruise) and it actually made me laugh.

Apparently 1/3 X5 owners own a company etc....  What do you think?

Thanks for generating the thread.

I'm still waiting for my X5 3.0D Sport.  I might get it by next Easter if I'm lucky.  The dealer tells me if I order one now I'll get it next October (2005)!!

At the risk of getting shouted at for thinking about towing..........has anyone used one for towing caravans?  How good are they?  Mine will have the 218bhp engine and the auto transmission.  Sorry, haven't got my head round all the 'E' and 'M' codes yet.

Rick

TSC is now standard I believe, which prevents any fish-tailing getting out of hand and you've ordered a 2 tonne car with loads of torque, self levelling rear suspension - what else could you want?  Oh and it's even better without the caravan!

Waited 1 yr for the X3, but the diesel isn't out until ???? 2005
