Just had my car's air con fixed today!

Why did I wait so long? I had forgotten how good it is to be cool in the car, leather seats hold onto the heat like it's going out of fashion. It cost more than £400 in the end, new condensor, re-gas and labour, but I think it was worth it.

blimey miles you are right.......some of you did mention regassing.....doh.....just off for a brain transplant.....jas....but i still think the bentley book is at fault

Glad you sorted it out in the end but if you had told us that the compressor was not kicking in i am sure we would have guessed that it needed a regass ... just checked back on your previous posts and I (and a couple of other forum members) did suggest that it might need a regass

hi fellas......well it seems that the failure of the air con has been solved.....apparently the gas has to be topped up every few years ....costs about £60.......no mention of this in the maintenance bit of bentleys.......i suppose they assume you must know this.....ah well i didn't but i do now......jasper
