I am going to remove the forums for the individual areas in the next day or so and replace it with a general forum whereby events can be discussed and if for example a member such as myself over in Ireland wants to travel to Scotland for a track day then the info is there in front of them and not hidden away as it currently is. Does everyone think this is a better method?

I don't know how many members in the club have minis but should I add a mini forum?

Besides the logo replacement, are there any other changes I should make while I am at it?

Cheers
Killian

Are you going to merge the existing threads..? There's already some good background information being posted...

I think the success or otherwise of the method will depend on the numbers who end up using the fora. At the moment, I think a merge is probably the best idea.

I think it's a good idea, the existing messages will not be lost I'm sure, just transferred to the new section.

Good move.

The existing threads will not be lost. They will be moved to the new forum.

There is a General non-club issues forum (click link to view) pcbim where members can discuss anything off topic that they wish (within obvious reason ).

The amount of members is increasing steadily and currently is @ 99 which within 2 weeks isnt bad. However, the intention is to keep them!

Any other comments appreciated.

A for sale and wants side, or will the club wish to rely purely on the club 'for sale section' on the main site?

Yes it would be good to have a single events forum with the exception of possibly expanding it to two, but no more. One for 'U.K. Events' and the other for 'Foriegn Events '.
