Auto Trans Fluid

   Hi all, Can any-one help me to identify what type of ATF fluid I need to put in my Gearbox? The vehicle in question is 1994 520i Tourer, Sraight 6. Myself and a friend spent quite some time looking for a dipstick/filler tube, but to no avail. I managed to get hold of a BMW TIS disc (apparently no haynes manual for this vehicle!), which has allowed me to identify that the filler/ level check is on the side of the gearbox, but no mention of fluid type. But after looking through some of the other topics on the forum, It is still unclear what type of fluid I should use. 
Any help would be appreciated, Regards, Ron.

	Hi Ron I'd go for dex 11D, I had a "conversation" with Oilman about this and thats what he recomended, for mine (E34 93' 525 24v, with a 135k). I'd immagine you would the same, if not someone will come along soon no doubt and tell me off HTH's PS......That "11" is actually the no 2, but it looks like eleven. Edited by bm24v
