Hi, Can anyone advise of the dates for these meets. The main events calendar in the magazine tends to say one date and then the Central column says another.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,

I think the next meeting is 21 January 2003 (ie the third Tuesday of the month at 3 monthly intervals) and I was hoping to contact Darren our Regional contact to confirm this.

I attended 10 meets during 2001 including 4 BMW Car Club events organised or held within the Central Section and just three during 2002 so far.

It was agreed, due to other commitments, that the monthly meetings would be held every three months.  If one missed a meeting during 2001 it was no sweat because there was a meeting the following month.  However now that meetings are every three months it becomes quite a wait for the next one. Perhaps this is something we need to address!

I am afraid that our Web page is pitifully out of date regarding dates of meetings.  I have reported this fact a number of times but to no avail.  I attended my first meeting on Tues 13 Feb 2001 as recorded on our Web page and wondered why I was the only one there - Yes!! the meeting was on the following Tuesday.  It is still recording meetings every month!!!

The Meanders organised by Phil are a very worthwhile trip!

I have since contacted Darren and the dates for 2003 meetings have been changed to Sundays in conjunction with a day out. This should hopefully suit those with families.  See the new issue of the Club Magazine for the latest information on this.
