i have just joined, so may have a few questions for you more experienced chaps and chapies soon. i have just purchased a 91 M5....so am still getting use to it at present, i think it would benefit from a set of clears all round, and a new gear knob....if any one can help??!!

Ummm... doesn't the E34 M5 have clears all round already??? I dunno. It may sound odd, but try your local dealer (where are you?, Westerly in Exeter are pretty good). Dealers are selling clear kits for the E36 and E30 pretty cheaply at the moment. Not sure about the E34, but worth a try.
