Hello, my cars internal fans lost all rheostat control.  If it's set to zero it still runs.   I've spoken to Alan Cowland, Finedon, who've advised me it is in all probability the resistance set which is down in the recesses of the drivers footwell behind just about everything else!

Has anyone else had this happen and if so, is it a real pig to fix?  He indicated that locating a working spare is hard since "how do you know the one you've been sold won't pack up as well?"  Does anyone have a spare?

Pls note, the cars got the infinitely variable fan (not right now) rather than the 4 spd version.  (ooh the pleasures of mod cons and creature comforts)

Any guidance appreciated.
