a few questions please ! Newbie here from Northern Ireland. Just bought a 86 baur e30 yesterday. does anyone know anything about the coupe top or indeed the tonneau cover and /or parcel shelf covers? i have a genuine baur kevlar rear section with glass window (does anyone re-cover these!) but would like to get soft top cover and shelf covers as per baur catalogue. finally is the back hard top a bit of a rarity. i can find nothing on it.thanks

Hi Johnny,

I got new fabric for the windscreen surround, also covering for middle (hard top) section, and the rear (folding) section from Automac GB Ltd. tel 020 8440 8700 or 07767 688233. Ask for Neil, tell him I've given you his number. Top quality with no problems. I don't know what the kevlar rear section with glass window is, although they were made for E21s. Any pics?

I was looking for a back shelf for my 84 model and managed to get one from a later model and found it wouldn't fit. I could be wrong, but standard 2 doors back shelves carn't be swapped between early and later models either, due to the differences in the seatbelt anchorages.

Someone left a note on my Baur at Gaydon, wanting to sell a tonneau, so they are still about. Have you thought about advertising at http://www.e30zone.co.uk/ - http://www.e30zone.co.uk/  ?

getting loads of info here. i would like to put a picture
of the coupe top up. how do you load a picture onto
the forum?
BTW - Is CARHOODWAREHOUSE a good reputable
fitting company? I am in Belfast and they have a fitter
over here.
