I have a BMC fitted, ask silver beastie, i think he liked it! Alternatively, Hyper Turismo is selling replica Gruppe M induction kits which apparently sound very good too, i think they go for about 200 ish. I have an old K&N which is for sale, dunno if it would fit like, i was gonna sell it to beastie, but as he is selling his car i assume he doesnt need it any more....????

Possibly? Will you be at the next hawes meet? You can usually make most things fit, i modified my BMC to fit my car as it was for a 328!

Watch the fitting instruction video ... ROFLMAO

Can just see lads in nova's hitting that little switch every time they need a power boost.

Neil yours sounded the nuts!  do you have a standard exhaust?  I like the sound of the replicas by the way.  Not 100% on the selling of my car now.  might save up for an m3 this time next year.  only ideas at the moment though...

"as i have alot ov noise with the rear!!"

Eat less fibre then LOL!!!

Dont worry its not too loud, but subtle enough to sound great! Scorpions are loud arent they, especially when you are at 6.5k revs going through the Union st underpass!!! LOL! Duncan had a 328.

Sounds good John! Its a piece of cake to fit, theres always a way to get around things!

Mell, at the moment everybody has a boner for those Replica Gruppe M filters, so there are probably a few peeps who have them for sale.....not guarenteed, but its worth posting on e36coupe.com if you want to save yourself 50 - 100 quid!

Mell, stick with the BMC - it's a cracking kit. As Neil says fitting is a doddle (hey if I can do it anyone can) £200 is too dear. HTR did mine for £170 delivered.

It won't be too noisy as it's a closed kit. You'll gain a little noise at higher revs and that's it.

I get most noise low down about 2k revs and then at max revs 6500 you get a lovely wail/rumble, its a beautiful noise, not much in between tho.....

Same price as a BMC CDA - should make a nicer noise if that's a consideration - looks like a good copy / development of the K&N FIPK.

Yes that the problem. Apparently the saloon's have a different bonnet and wings but he will soon be measuring it up for it will fit the whole E36 range. They have only been going for about the past 2 months.

I keep finding out how many differences the
coupe/saloon have!!!!

very similar to my induction, but I have a shield on
the bottom as there is a nice hot coolant pipe that
passes underneath. Also has a nice aluminium heat
shield mat on the outside which is suppossed to
resist temp of 400 degrees!!!

I was going to make more to sell, but never got
round to it!!

I invested in a Cold Air Intake System from CA Automotive a few months ago for my 325.

The car also has a full Scorpion Zorst on it and sounds fantastic. The car runs very responsive. The cone is a M3 K&N.

I had alot of mods done at the same time as the inspection2 mate.

Big Bore Throttle Body
Power Boost Valve
Motorsport Chip
CAIS

The car was totally differant when I picked it up. I want the car to settle down with all them mods on it, (and cash flow problem) so I will wate till after Christmas and then get it rolling roaded. But there was a massive differance

Abert Park has just about been finished. The boating lake looks great. They sent the rowing boats off to Holme House Prison in Stockton for the prisoners to refurbish them. They have done a cracking job!

I remember opening the front door once and the air was thick with the smell of sulphur.

The walk to the shops took me past several ladies of the night (ok if you liked that sort of thing)

The good points..

lived on wWorcester street, near ayresome park, when the footie was on I used to open the windows and turn the sound off on the telly.. Walked round ground and took photos when it was demolished.. sad.
