help! i have a H reg 7 series which has a wobble type vibration at 55 mph and then eases off as you excelerate i had the front wheels balanced on the car this helped by about 50 % had the propshaft checked and the rear wheels balances and checked....its still there any ideas ?

From my limited knowledge I'd suggest it could perhaps be discs, since on my 535i I get light vibrations 55-65 on driving (more on the over-run( but massive shake 55-65 on braking.

I would suggest posting this q to the uk e32 register - they are a great help.
