How much grief as a DIY task? Easy to do, or should I just bite the bullet and get my friendly neighbourhood garage to do it....

Opinions please....

If you are au fait with engines, its not bad.

If you are not, give it to a garage where they know and love BMWs- it is easy to do wrong, and there are other things that need to be checked like oil banjo bolts when you are doing this job.
