A petition has been started on another forum to get ebay to stop selling M3 mirrors without base plates

As most of you can guess how they came to be in that persons possesion

I've signed it, but have to say I have absolutely no idea how Ebay could police any sort of ban. Hopefully they can sort something out though.

I bought a car stereo from the 'bay just recently, my suspisions as to its origin were aroused when a CD popped out of it when I turned it on for the first time! As a victim of a radio grab myself bigcry(not yet mirrors), I really hope that it's legitimate.

i signed it no problem, the best thing obviously would be if the thieving ***** never stole them in the first place.

i know we can't go down the saudi road, but it makes you wonder dosn't it.would you steal some mirrors if it meant you had to spend a year in jail? probably not.a slap on the wrist is all that they get.

anyway i'm open to suggestions on how to keep them on the car in the first place. darren.
