hello

I own an immaculate 6 series highline with which I am having difficulty replacing the tires as they are metric trx(240/45 zr415). Does anyone have any suggestions where I might find some or instead replace the wheels with ones which would closely resemble the originals (possibly from other models??)

Regards

Ed

Unfortunately, Michelin (who used to make this size of metric tyre) sold the tyre moulds last year to an American company called Coker Tyre. Coker reportedly has no plans to make another batch of tyres until next year (2004).

Thankfully I use 220/55 R390, which means I can still get Avon Turbospeeds. But they must be ruthlessly checked for eccentricity, as there is the odd manufacturing flaw, which can contribute significantly to steering vibration at about 50mph....
