My GF is on the look out for a nice E30 325, preferably a sport or an SE with the Mtech body kit. Mileage not an issue as long as it's been well looked after and body work is good.

Looking to pay no more than £2000.

I saw a couple on autotrader - does anyone here know these cars?    Any info would be gratefully received.

Which Mtech kit are you after. The first car appears to have a Mtech II kit fitted to it, the second has the Mtech I kit. Or are you not bothered?

Personally i would go with the first car, at the end of the day it's woth more in bits than together, sad but true. Which ever you look at check for rust in the front scuttle panel, rear arches and jacking points.

For £2k you are not going to find a mint Mtech II sport, but you might be lucky to find a decent SE or even a more basic 325i with the body kit.

Decent examples are now appreciating in value, so if you buy a decent car now, you shouldn't loose too much money in the future.

Someone left a note on my windscreen. It read 'Parking Fine' that was nice

personally I'd go for the SE with the sport seats etc.
The sports do offer a little more, but the SE's are just as capable, and you'll probably find one that hasn't been messed with, the same may not be said about the sports!

Thanks for the tips, I think would go for an SE, anway i have a sports close ratio box in my garage, and the interior is easy to sort out too

Not a lot about at the moment - always the way when you have the money! This will be my fourth E30 325 and i mean to keep this one.

thanks

Harry
