The cruise control arm on my car just 'flops' about, although it is still connected to the column and to it's mounting point. Is there a way of fixing this, or is it a case of replacing the arm with a new one?

AG have you asked the E23 Bimmer boys - they all have cruise on their USA spec motors.

Does the c/c work?

I am shortly acquiring a spare c/c stalk so will be able to sort you out if needs be.

I don't think it does, as the lever moves so much I don't think it connects to anything!
