One for the bodyshop pro's maybe..

One of the studs which is used to bolt the hood frame to the body snapped!!

Any ideas on what I can do??

My first thought is that the stud (or remains of) could be drilled out & then use some sort of coach bolt to secure the frame  (poss tidier than welding).  I've had a quick look from the boot but can't see where I could get a bolt in.  Not sure either if it can be accessed from within the car by removing the interior panel.

I'm guessing that I would need to get a body shop to take a look but to save on the labour rates, can anyone tell me how to remove the interior panel?

Thanks very much in advance.
