Just tried this out to see what performance i would get
(all of the below under controlled conditions)
from standing start on level surface, dry windless morning.
In 4th gear from a standing start, accelerate to 135mph which is about 6500 rpm. This was done in less than 1 km.
I will put a stop watch on next time.

This is with a E-46 330Ci with 9000mls on the clock, the six speed box has made the 4th gear ratio a very usefull, better than previouse 5 speed version.

The 6 speed box has made the engine more flexible. The trottle responce is also much improved. On the previouse (2001)model there was a noticable lack of feel from the the trottle, balanceing the car on power in a corner was some what vague.
The tyres are Michelin Pilot sport, their fine, I have the 245/240 front rear combination which gives more traction for back end.

Good luck with her anyways. Might get a spin from you the next day in Mondello. You must be getting closer to the M boys now. Well loosing less distance on the straight anyways.
