Not that I'm one for turning corners quickly or anything but I finally got sick of the stuff in my boot swinging from one side to the other, thus I bought a set of lashing straps from BMW (pn:BM82.26.9.407.617) for my Z3 M Coupe and they don't fit, infact they're nowhere near.

I've taken then back to the dealer and he's double checked the part no. and it's correct, he's even had a go at fitting them himself, on mine and a M Roadster but with no joy.  Currently he's enquiring with BM to check the part no and ask what the score is?

I'm pretty sure they're going to tell me that's all they do and offer me my money back, but this still leaves me with the problem.

Does anyone else have these straps fitted (esp Z3 M Coupe owners)?

Does anyone know where else you can buy these things from?
