What is the problem with people these days?

does no one have any sense or right and wrong???

I was in halfords for less than 2 minutes and some tw@ scratched up my OSR quarter, unhooked the bumper and disappeared.

Not even a apology note!!

!?@£$$!!!, my words exactly. I hope you dont have to fork out too much.

I think we all suffer from the dreaded supermarket/out of town shopping centre problem - It doesnt matter if you park the furthest away, on your own, to find some numpty parked right next to you!!

I have taken to going to these places very early or late in the day and where possible taking 2 spaces - If the car park is packed, I now take a mobile photo of the cars next to me....and they'd better not damage my car...being a supermarket, they obviously shop their regularly, they will be back and so will I

Good Luck

I used to avoid parking in multi-storey and other town center carparks on a Saturday cos no matter how big the bay is, you always get some baffoon who whacks the mirror or scratches the car while you are away. Shoppingtrolleyitis is a right pain in the posterior too..loads of little dents down the doors and/or bumpers....just a little bit of consideration, thats all it takes but we might just as well be asking for the world...

Had a disco' reverse into me once, put a nice bumper sized dent into the drivers side door.
woman drivers friend says:
'..oops, did I hit you?'

Me in reply:
'..oh no... I just drove sideways into you for the fun of it!!!'

At least you found out who did it though, most of the time no-one owns up to damaging your car

I once had an altercation with a Fiat Brava driver who reversed into the side of my Six at a BP garage.

He didn't notice anything initially since he was engaged on his mobile phone at the time. Having finally got his attention, he turned to me and said:

"Your car's faulty"

"Faulty?!?" I spat. "Of course it's ****in' faulty now! You've just backed into it!!!"

it really amazes me how peaple in car parks think its ok to open there car door in to another without as much as batting an eyelid

the other day i drove the old girl to the shops .sent her out of the car to do a bit of shopping ..i stayed in the car..so there i was sat in morrisons car park just minding my own buisness ..when all of a sudden i hear a trolley  hit my rear quater ...yes   the owner of the car next to me  was filling her boot with shopping and let the trolley run its own course in to my car

this has to the most infurating bit

she then proceeds to the trolley park to drop it off .she hasnt been aware that i was sat in the car [she must have thought i wasnt in the car] so i get out to inspect if/or any damage

she tootles back to her car    and iam stood near my rear quater .she passes me by as if nothing has happened

so i stop her and ask if she has hit my car with a trolley.......the answer   was   NO  ...i then proceed to tell her that she had 3 bags of morrisons carriers   and one for boots   ..that she had just loaded in to her boot of her clio

its amazing how a nice mid 40s women  then apologises like mad then goes red in the face

luckly no damage was done  [it must have it the bumper]

but talk about sheer ignorance  of a women that should /does know better

Know any good solicitors?

Shouldn't joke really, had it done to me several times, including the trolley into car while sat in car watching.

Not just in carpark, was shopping in biggest local Asda tonight, walking using my sticks, stopped to look at the pasta, two young women slammed straight into my A**e at fast walk with trolley and carried on bleating "sorry" as they carried on with their mobile phone call, leaving me spread all over counter. Snarled at them "surely I'm big enough and ugly enough for you to notice!!" No response, didn't even ask if I was ok.

mmm I too have that 'invisibility complex' too Ian...damned annoying isn't it?

If that happens to me now I get my own back by tripping the blighters up in the next aisle with my stick...strange how they whinge and whine at you as if you committed murder, but at least it wakes them up a bit...

..so it was you was it?

Heres another instance of folk being away in the land of fullers..

I was parked in the back lane at my folks house, in a corner - having a little snooze while waiting for them to return from the shops.
Along comes a group of drop outs, one decided that the rear of my car would be a good place to relieve himself, nice and quiet, hidden out of the way.. I think he did more than have a widdle when I hit the horn.. brown trousers anyone?
