My X3 (May 04 build, August 04 registered) has Professional Navigation. I was under the impression that all X3's had MP3 compatible system. The single slot in the head unit doesn't recognise an MP3 Audio disk. The 6 Disc changer seems to accept the MP3 disc but when I try to play it I get buzzes and squeaks.

According to the RADIOPASS the Model/Type is PH8040.

Anyone shed any light on this for me?

I have a 320d (2005 new model) that has a single disk drive and a professional navigation system. I cut a mp3 disk on my computer using Nero. But my CD player would not recognise it. Have I missed something in the way these disks have to be cut ?

as a suggestion chaps, have a word with a moderator or admin about getting these queries moved to the general technical forum.

**edit: I'll see what I can do**

They'll probably get lost amongst the tumbleweeds in this area!!

Says it does in the Manual. Just wondered if the format of the MP3 disk was an issue. If someone has done it let me know how ..
