Right then.

Now that Ivan's horse is finally behaving itself and not throwing dead lizards everywhere and making a mess, perhaps we can start having a bit of frivolitous silliness again....

It does make you wonder though when an avatar gets a mind of its own..bad enough that the owner of said avatar is a handful without the avatar joining in aswell

What a load of horse crap!

I expect a whole raft of new taxes and other nonsence will be brought in now that Tony has been voted back in. Must be time for a hike in petrol prices soon enough

which has to be better than loads of dead lizards...

A tax on excrement? what's next....fresh air tax?!

More like farmers make money on manure and the government want a piece of it. They can't let anyone make money without theiving it off us.

Makes me wonder if the tax on rose compost will include some of the compost that our political leaders speak too..

I'm too busy munching my way through Muller Crunch Corner yoghurts to get anything in a twizzle. All I did was answer your question.

I assume by the use of the term 'stupidity' that you feel the threads are such, oh well, maybe so but at least we have a giggle.

Laugh and the whole world laughs with you..or at you..either way we nutters revengers are a happy little bunch and nothing can alter that fact

Insanity isn't compulsory for these 'silly' threads..but it sure does prove helpful

Without a little bit of laughter each day, we would all become boring old windbags.

Perhaps the Government will start to charge tax for having fun too, afterall they are charging tax for naturally produced rose compost...bet Ivan will be over the moon at that prospect.

Don't knoe Slayer, have to find some to listen to. My musical tastes run from Simon and Garfunkel and The Carpenters to Black Sabbath, Deep Purple. Only type I never really liked was opera.

I do like a good guitar bass beat, The Shadows, Duanne Eddy, Fleetwood Mac. Had complaints from my first wife that coming back from a solo shopping trip the windows were vibrating and she could here my music half a mile away. And the problem is ?????

Seen Slayer as well, at Donnington.
Also AC/DC (headlined '91) Mettalica, Thunder, Iron Maiden (headlined '92), Queensryche, Motley Crue, Kiss, and any others that appeared '91, '92.
Also seen Peter Green at the Redcar Bowl in '99 (the one from Fleetwood Mac, in his now 'Splinter Group' then with Cozy Powel on drums who was sadly killed a while ago. Alos playing with peter was Spike, who played keyboards for Queen (in the background of course)

Got stuck into a book last night after I went offline. Have to admit that it did make me cry a little too.

'The Two of Us' the autobiography written by Sheila Hancock about her life with John Thaw. In between the sections about where they were born and what happened to themselves while they were married and so on she writes about how John was coping with his illness and how she felt helpless when he had bad days. I got to the part last night when he died in her arms and how she cried and cried and wouldn't let him go.

The book is beautifully written, Sheila doesn't hold any punches about her feelings as she watched John slowly declining. Absolutely superb book, very thought provoking

Ise flicking tween the scores on the Premiership relegation battles...poor old Norwich is being trounced 6-0 at Fulham, Southampton is losing 2-1 against Man United and Pompey are losing by 2-0. But its Southampton, Norwich and Crystal Palace that are going down once their games end and if they don't suddenly fight back.

Can't say I am too unhappy about Southampton though, they nicked Pompey's manager so they can go down to the Conference leagues now.

Well, according to http://www.bmwcarclubforum.co.uk/forum_posts.asp?TID=17677&PN=1 - this thread , she may be hinting that she's not long for this world, so better make the most of it whilst she's still here.
