hi, was there an article on the 8 in the april or may issue of BMW UK magazine ? I was wondering if some kind soul could scan it for me to save me waiting for the ship to arrive with the copies for down under. thanks ian |

In that case, please send a case of premium Victoria Bitter to: Doug Newton 13 Rodney Close Blackburn South MELBOURNE VIC 3310 (I think, trying to remember the postcode from Melways maps) He's a very good friend of mine; he and his wife are in the throes of rebuilding and extending their house, so the beer will come in handy! Grand!!

Can I add my thanks to Horsetan too. This article and Munich Legends lack of communication about progress made my mind up to buy the 840Ci I'm getting on wednesday rather than waiting for the M6 they were rebuiding. Henners PS I wish I could drive to Ayres Rock in my 8 and take those photos!!!!

It was a great experience Henners. A fully fuelled 8, plenty of water, a rented satellite phone and 1000's of km of unrestricted highway and none of the below to worry about....
p.s. the Northern Territory is about 10x the size of england and has about the same population as Islington |
