A big thankyou from a very happy central region member. As my first club event I joined the east anglia region on a trip to France...and what a fantastic day it was, nice location, nice food, and delightful company, many thanks to Mike and co, it must have taken a lot of organising

Best Wishes

Being over here in Ireland I didnt have the pleasure of that trip but I did take my car to France in 2001 for 3 weeks and it was an excellent driving experience (1st time driving on wrong side of road!). The motorways were empty and of excellent quality, allowing the car to perform better than on the few stretches we have over here. 120+ mph was achieved quite easily and smoothly in a 1989 320i.
Next year I hope to head over to Germany and try out the autobahns.
